What My Paradise Breakfast Includes...

Yes. I practice what I preach.  Here’s what a typical day looks. What I eat, drink, and a look at items I use in my personal skin care regimen.

I love adding cacao powder to my spirulina smoothie in the morning.  Cacao has high levels of antioxidants protect and repair the skin from damage and premature aging. And as a potent anti-inflammatory repairs blemishes, improving the skin’s complexion.

 Naturally rich in protein and nine amino acids, spirulina also benefit the skin and promotes a plump, radiant complexion. Spirulina is a natural detox of heavy metals and is extremely nutrient dense.  I love to start my day with Spirulina.

Pumpkin seeds are loaded with Zinc.  Zinc is essential for its anti-inflammatory effects, zinc is quite beneficial for inflammatory acne and scarring related to acne blemishes.

I often top my chia pudding with pumpkin seeds or add to my smoothies.

I have the privileged of getting my moringa from my home in the Virgin Islands right off the tree in the back yard!The natural vitamin C in moringa oil boosts collagen, helping reduce fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin.” The vitamin-rich and nutrient-dense moringa oil

This keep me so full in the morning.  I have replaced eating oatmeal with this.  Top with bananas, raw nuts, and flaxseed.

Matcha powder has remarkable properties to keep your complexion fresh and healthy. Not only does it reduce inflammation, it offers a one-two punch for the skin to exfoliate and eliminate dead skin cells, then rejuvenate the underlying skin to improve your complexion.

I also have the privileged of getting wild lemongrass form my home in St.Thomas  Lemongrass for skin also has antiseptic and astringent properties, which helps to give your skin that beautiful, even glow.

Clearly avocados are a staple for me! They are nutritionally dense,  a good fat that keeps my brain young and my skin hydrated! I love to have  a contrast of color on my plate.  I eat very simple and as much whole foods as possible.  I really limit processed foods, dairy, and wheat.
